Normanville Surf Lifesaving Club & Kiosk

A Community Land Management Plan (CLMP) is in place to protect the community interests in “Community Land” for current and future generations providing Council direction for the use of each land parcel.

All local government land (except roads) that is owned by a Council or under a Council’s care, control and management is Community Land under the Local Government Act 1999 unless it has been exempted through legislation, excluded by resolution of Council or the classification has been revoked.

In accordance with Section 196 of the Local Government Act 1999, Council has an existing CLMP. A CLMP is a document prepared in consultation with the community, it identifies Community Land, the purpose for which it is held and provides direction for the use of each Community Land parcel.

Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 197, 198 & 200 of the Local Government Act 1999, and in accordance with Council’s public consultation policy, that the Council is proposing amendments to the Community Land Management Plan for the Normanville Beach Café & Surf Life-Saving Club.

Following the community engagement process, feedback received on the revised CLMP’s will be presented to Council for consideration for adoption on 17 November 2020. Once adopted, Council must continue to manage the land in accordance with the relevant Management Plan for each of the sites.
